Review of Camp for Teenagers and Young Adults of Open Mind Projects in Nong Khai, Thailand – Part 3 – www.openmindprojects.org – Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 plus Tzolkin Mayan Calendar
General information about the theme days:
In the mornings, I walked from Mut Wee Garden Guest House to Open Mind Projects. It was still kind of foggy these mornings plus the temperature rose during the day.
There was a team of photographers (3) who went by each theme day to take some pictures and video’s.
Upon arrival Joiy (teacher) and myself were ready to share the theme of Global Warming and Environment with the campers for the next 4 days. Joiy had prepared a Power Point Presentation for the days along with his excellent way of teaching. Building up the English slowly by first speaking Thai language and than integrating the English step by step. At the end of the morning he reviewed the learning by doing this with the camper group via the power point presentation and the video https://www3.epa.gov/climatechange/kids/basics/today/greenhouse-effect.html
The main objectives were:
Motivation
Confidence
Thinking Skills
Online searching
English
Teamwork
Awareness
The keywords during the theme were:
Environment, Global warming, carbon dioxide, burning, greenhouse gas, greenhouse effect, air pollution, water pollution, vehicles, health problems, forest, deforestation, soil erosion, dry land, drought and flooding.
A lunch and dinner was cooked by trainees and campers. We enjoyed the fabulous food at the table and could have some talks together to get to know each other more closely.
In the evening, all the campers gathered outside to do a quiz via passing a ball and dancing. The music would stop and than the person had to answer a quiz question.
After this I shared a meditation with the group, the translator was James and Best toke care of the music. It was a quiet, silent open space.
After this some trainees started to do a dance demonstration.

The challenge, strengthening and open opportunity of being in a state or open space of inner silence to listen to the abundance of information that is there and share this with others to be moved or motivated in the hidden power of harmony with its beauty and elegance of various skills.
To allow and surrender in this centered, grounded and anchored openness of courage to convey your message out to those who ask or communicate with you.
