About The Planetary Tuning Energy Chimes

Energy Chimes are a single sound bar made of aluminum, mounted floating on a wooden base which is struck with a small mallet (usually made of wood). The sound of the Energy Chime is bright and characterized by a pronounced, long sustain.

What is special about our Energy Chimes?

The special thing about the Energy Chimes from Meinl Sonic Energy is that they are tuned to different Hz numbers, which are based on the calculations of the famous Swiss mathematician, musicologist and astrologer Hans Cousto. His natural law of the Cosmic Octave states that a planetary frequency can be calculated from the period of self-rotation of the respective planet and its orbital period around the sun. After subsequent multiplication (so-called octave), he succeeded in transferring the rhythm of the planets into the range between 16 Hz and 19,000 Hz and thus making it acoustically perceptible for humans.

The MEINL planetary tuned energy chimes are made using the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of the sun, moon, and planets. Each one is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency of the celestial body. These energy chimes have been designed for use in therapeutic applications.

Meinl percussion has been teamed up with the Universe to create their Planetary Tuned Energy Chimes. Using the calculations of Hans Cousto, Meinl provides you energy chimes for healing and joy.

These chimes are at the higher frequency/overtone/octave than the corresponding gong, of course. Most chimes are in the 7th Octave, with only the Sun being in the 6th.
