The Munay Ki – Rites of Passage and Initiation

http://www.thisisenergy.com/munay-ki

Munay Ki comes from a Quechua word that means ‘I love you.’ The Munay Ki consist of nine rites of initiation, which are transmitted energetically to those individuals who wish to acquire deep power and wisdom to act as stewards for our planet and all life on it. The rites connect him or her to a lineage of medicine men and women thousands of years old. Traditionally, a student would spend years in apprenticeship in order to be given these rites. Today we live in a different world, where everything is changing at a rapid pace, and many people are increasingly becoming aware of their abilities and roles in protecting their environment and healing themselves in it.

There exists some controversy with regard to the Munay Ki rites as the original rites were “modernized” by Alberto Villoldo, Phd, to make them accessible to people of these modern times.  I do not believe that this has weakened the essence of the rites.  If anything, the wide-spread support amongst peoples of our planet at this time for these rites, has and is serving to focus and strengthen their potential, for, as with everything, energy follows thought.

An introduction to the Munay Ki

The Rites can be transmitted as part of a healing session, on a one-to-one basis, or in a group.

  1. Healer’s rites – supporting the healer within, the Healer’s rites connect the individual to a lineage of luminous beings from the past – the ancient ones, who come to assist in one’s personal transformation and during healing ceremony.  These rites awaken the healing power to manifest in our hands so that we can transmit this energy to everyone we touch.  There is tremendous spiritual assistance available to all, both in our everyday life and in healing our wounds and those of our ancestors.
  2. Bands of Power – providing protection. The Bands of Power are 5 luminous energy belts, representing the 5 elements, which are woven into our luminous energy field for protection.  They act as protection filters and break down any negative energy directed at the individual, into one of the elements.  These energies then feed our luminous energy field, making it stronger, rather than making it weak.
  3. Harmony rites – strengthening and harmonising the chakras, these rites are a transmission of the 7 archetypes into each of the chakras.  Starting with the root chakra, an individual receives the Archetype of the Serpent, this is followed by the Jaguar, the Hummingbird and the Eagle in each following chakra respectively.  Into the last three chakras are transmitted the energies of the three Archangels:  the Keeper of the Lower World (our unconscious), the  Keeper of the Middle World (our waking world), and the Protector of the Upper World (our superconscious).
  4. Seer rites – seeing with the heart, feeling with the mind as extra-cerebral pathways of light are installed, connecting the visual cortex – the third eye to heart chakra.  This connection awakens the “inner seer” and one’s ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and Spirit.
  5. Daykeeper rites – accessing healing powers of old, these rites connect an individual to a lineage of master healers from the past.  Traditionally, these Daykeepers were midwives, herbalists and healers who assisted in the running of everyday affairs, in births and deaths of all creatures.  Daykeepers are able to call upon ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the earth.  They call on the sun to rise each morning, and can bring humans into harmony with mother Earth.  These rites help heal our inner feminine, so as to enable us to step beyond fear, to practice peace.
  6. Wisdomkeeper rites – stepping outside of time and space, these rites connect the individual to a lineage of luminous beings from the past and from the future. The rites are associated with the snow-capped mountains, perhaps a distant memory of our ancestors from the Himalayas, from where the sacred rites originated. The Wisdomkeepers are the wise ones, many of whose spirit has taken residence inside the mountains on our planet, guiding, teaching and transmitting knowledge.  These rites help us heal our inner masculine, teaching us to step outside of time, to taste infinity.
  7. Earthkeeper rites – connecting to the Earthkeeper lineage, these rites connect us to the archangel guardians of our galaxy, to the stewards of all life on Earth.  They connect us to the stars and to our Sun.  They bring back into memory an individual’s ability to dream the world into being.
  8. Starkeeper rites – evolving into Homo Luminous. These rites connect and anchor us firmly to the time after the Great Change, a time toward which evolution is taking us.  Our physical body, our DNA, begins to evolve into that of the Homo Luminous.  We start to age differently and become resistant to disease as our DNA is re-informed.
  9. Creator rites – accessing divine co-creation.   These rites awaken in the individual the Creator-light within her or him. They bring us in touch with a profound sense of stewardship for all creation – from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies.  Once attained only through direct transmission from Spirit, these rites can now be transmitted from one person to another.

June 5 – Daily review of the Journey within Peru

Be Welcome to connect and align.

Personal notes:

After breakfast and a talk with Arthur about the energy point in the hallway we met Patricia, the touring guide. We started the morning by gathering at the Vortex Point in the Hallway whilst Arthur laid the Arthurian Tarot Cards. After this I sprayed some Worldwide Essence for the start of the journey at this point.

Patricia was so kind to tell me the history of this Hotel.

The Gran Hotel Bolívar, is a historic hotel located on Plaza San Martin. Designed by noted Peruvian architect Rafael Marquina, it was built in 1924 (note the year via numerology – 2+4=6) and was the first large, modern hotel built in Lima. It was build on an Ancient Sacred Site of the Inca’s. During the opening ceremony many tribes attended.

Part of a program to modernize Lima, the hotel was constructed on what was state property. The hotel was inaugurated on December 6, 1924, in honor of the centenary of the Battle of Ayacucho, a decisive military encounter during the Peruvian War of Independence.

In the 1940s and 1950s, the hotel attracted Hollywood movie stars such as Orson Welles, Ava Gardner and John Wayne, where many also discovered the local cocktail, the Pisco Sour.

Arthur and Pieter had left  to arrange some final details with the Travel Agency. The group went with Patricia for a walk through Lima Center. Patricia asked me personally to give her a sign of special energy areas during the walk. I had my crystal bag with me to leave crystals in various areas as a token of Gratitude.

We started the walk just across the Hotel. First we went to a statue of three Goddesses statue build in 1912 which was connected to the 3 numerology by the year that it was build.

The Plaza San Martín is one of the most representative  public spaces of the city of Lima, Peru. It is located at the ninth block of Colmena avenue, within the Historic Center of Lima which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1988 by UNESCO. It is located near the Plaza Mayor of Lima and is connected to it by the Jiron de la Union. Its central monument gives homage to Peru’s liberator,  Jose de San Martin. The square itself was inaugurated on July 27, 1921 (note the year via numerology – 2 + 1=3), in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Peru’s independence.

There are 8 entrances plus the center which correspond with the numerology of 9.

The plaza maintains uniformity with respect to its buildings’ facades. Its overall appearance is primarily baroque; the buildings, plaza, and central monument all cohere to uniform and specific styles. The architectural style to which most of the surrounding buildings belong to is that of the neohispanic or neocolonial styles within the realm of European derived architecture.

Here I noticed the prolonged Sacred Geometry together with the Chakana form in the plaza. Notice also the center which is the 13th, the journey to beyond.

Inka-kors-tegning1

After this we walked further in the center whilst Patricia explained various details along the way. There are many churches build on Ancient Inca Sites which drew me away from the group whilst giving a message to Patricia about this. One of them was a chapel devoted to Mother Mary and other Ladies. I placed a Mangano Crystal upon the altar of Lady Fortuna there.

I almost lost the group as they continued walking with Patricia. The next destination was San Pedro church were I went shortly inside.

San Pedro

We walked further to the next plaza which contained the City Hall, Jesus Christ Church and the Major’s office building. The plaza had a very feminine energy flow almost like you as being rocked in a cradle.

Known for its extensive history and past Andean cultures including the Chavin, the Incas and the Moche, Lima is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and brimming with glorious landmarks and ancient monuments. The city’s famous Basilica Cathedral is one of the most important landmarks standing today and it dominates the Plaza Mayor in the heart of downtown Lima.lima_plaza_armas4

The final destination was San Francisco of Assisi church where a ceremony would be done by one of the members of the group in the Museum. At the side of the Church two Ancient Rocks were still there signifying that it was build upon an Ancient Inca Sacred Site. One by one we felt the energy of this. Than we walked further and I was drawn to enter the San Francisco church and place a crystal there. I told one of the group members that I was entering there before I entered. Unfortunately the group did not enter the church and went straight to the monastery or museum. When I came out of the church I could not find the group again so I felt guided to return to the Hotel to later join up with the group again.

San-Francisco-Cathedral

For everyone this was a confusing moment. My apologies for this. Later on I saw Carmen and Patricia walking away from the Hotel and I joined them to walk to the restaurant were we all had lunch and celebrated Dietlinde’s birthday.

Pisco

Bus ride from Lima to Pisco.

Pisco is a Quecha word that means “bird.” The area is often visited because of the concentration of marine animals and birds at the Paracas National Reserve, or the Peruvian Galápagos. At the reserve, there are the Islas Ballestas, a collection of islands which are off limits to people, but boat tours can get close to. The Chincha Islands are also near its coast. Many bird species can be seen in the islands including pelicans, penguins, cormorant, Peruvian boobies and Inca terns, as well as sea lions, turtles, dolphins, and whales.

We will be staying overnight in Pisco.

June 4, 2017 – Daily Review of the Journey within Peru

Be Welcome to attune and align if called for.

Journey within the Sacred Grounds of Peru. Organised by Arthur van Steen and Pieter Tigelaar  plus 18 other people from The Netherlands.

Peru map

Sunday, June 4 flight Amsterdam – Lima plus Hotel – Whitsun

Personal Note: We started the journey at the meeting point at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Most of the group members knew each other as they follow courses or went on group journeys with Arthur van Steen and Pieter Tigelaar. The check in tickets were handed out plus homeopathic remedy to assist during the first part of the journey.

For the personal soul within the group soul it was a open space to observe and feel the vibration of the group. The 12 hour flight with KLM was comfortable and all needs were met for everyone. I had booked  alley seat beforehand to be able to have some moving space during the flight.

Arriving at the Airport we were met by a local travel agency run by Carmen who had arranged all the transportation by bus, hotels and the touring guides. Our touring guide for Lima was Patricia for she had great knowledge of the history and sacred places. There was a small group (3 people) that had travelled via Madrid to Lima.

The first part of the journey was meant to be a physical journey along the south coast of Peru.

Upon entering the Gran Hotel Bolivar, Lima I was drawn to the center point there because of its vortex or energy swirl. It was part of the linkage to Sacred Geometry. I stayed on the spot for awhile to center, ground and anchor myself in Lima, Peru.

The Gran Hotel Bolívar, is a historic hotel located on Plaza San Martin. Designed by noted Peruvian architect Rafael Marquina, it was built in 1924 (note the year via numerology – 2+4=6) and was the first large, modern hotel built in Lima.

Part of a program to modernize Lima, the hotel was constructed on what was state property. Along with this it was build on a Sacred Site of the Inca’s or prehistoric Inca’s. The hotel was inaugurated on December 6, 1924, in honor of the centenary of the Battle of Ayacucho, a decisive military encounter during the Peruvian War of Independence. The square itself was inaugurated on July 27, 1921 (note the year via numerology – 2 + 1=3), in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Peru’s independence.

In the 1940s and 1950s, the hotel attracted Hollywood movie stars such as Orson Welles, Ava Gardner and John Wayne, where many also discovered the local cocktail, the Pisco Sour.

We were assigned room mates via Arthur and Pieter. It was wonderful to be able to stretch out and take a shower. Slept shortly but was refreshed in the morning upon awakening.

Tone 12 is to discover, share and give expression to insights in openness and love.

Discover, share and give expression to insights in Openness and Love in the resonance of the natural supportive spiral movement of the East with its Universal Hand that touches, receives and embraces the journey to give it a form and from there comes the understanding of healing, being healed within.

As we move onwards into the Wisdom of the North with the Ancient Elders allowing and surrendering to the germination of the Now and all its possibilities as a seed is planted into the fertile grounds of flowering the action, potential, growth empowerment and development of ripening.

From the West, the spiral moves so that we All can face the challenge, strengthening and opportunity of breathing within the communication, inspiration, flexibility and changes with Spirit.

To move into the spiral of the hidden power of the South within its purification of emotional waters as we let be what is and observe without judgement in Trust of these ripples, drops and wave movement.

Now in presence center, ground and anchor this wholeness of this spiral to allow choices to be made, to help or to release, to speak or to listen for All that vibrates on Earth. May Divine Wisdom BE.
